About Us

A family hobby that grew into something more

Our Story

Blue Moon Rose Aquatics started as a family hobby with tropical fish. Originally it was a mother teaching her son how to properly care for fish and maintain an aquarium — time spent learning together and looking after fish the right way.

Over time we wanted to create a way for more people to enjoy keeping fish without it feeling expensive or complicated. That's where Blue Moon Rose Aquatics began.

Mother & Son

This is a mother-and-son family-run business, not a chain. You'll deal with the people who actually look after the fish, and we'll answer your questions ourselves.

Every fish is cared for directly — from arrival and quarantine through daily checks and careful packing for delivery.

Our Home-Based Business

There is no shop floor here. We operate from a dedicated, private home setup, which means fewer stressors for the fish and a calmer environment.

  • Clear, honest communication from one keeper
  • Real-time stock status on every fish
  • Delivery confirmed with you first
  • Support after your fish arrives

Our Fish, Their Homes

We believe you should be able to see where your fish actually live. Our gallery shows our tanks and the environments our fish live in, so you get a transparent look at their current homes and care setup — not a polished, staged shot.

The tanks below are the real thing: the plants, the equipment and whoever is living in there right now.

Our Setup Is Our Preference, Not a Rule

We personally enjoy creating heavily planted, natural-looking environments and prefer to go as natural and "bio" as possible.

That does not mean you need to copy our exact setup. Every aquarium is different, and fishkeeping should be based on the needs of the fish, the space you have, and your own experience as a keeper.
